Luxury Hotel In Spain

Posted by admin on Jul-25-2010

We hope that this article is informative for those seeking a luxury hotel in Andalucia in Southern Spain. The hotels that we have stayed at in Andalucia in Southern Spain are similar to the exclusive country house hotels that we have stayed at in England-all offering a personal and professional service of the highest standard.

HOTEL CORTIJO SOTO REAL

Hotel Cortijo Soto Real, set in 1,000 acres, is located between Jerez and Seville several miles from the A4 in the middle of the Andalucian countryside.

Hotel Cortijo Soto Real was originally the opulent private residence of an Algerian prince and was converted into a luxury hotel in recent years. The hotel has 24 bedrooms/suites.

We arrived at this exclusive hotel in the evening to be greeted outside reception by two members of staff who quickly removed our luggage from the car which was then parked for us. We were upgraded to a junior suite (having been shown around 4 junior suites and asked to choose which ever one we wanted). The junior suite, beautifully furnished, had a seperate living area overlooking the orange grove. The huge bedroom had french doors opening onto a terrace with sun beds and table and chairs overlooking the acres of grounds and the outdoor swimming pool. The bathroom was the largest we have ever seen with a double ended whirlpool bath and huge shower with jets aimed at various angles. The lady asked my wife if she wanted a bath run for her whilst we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine in the exotic Morocon styled drawing room but upon returning to our suite not only had a bath been run but it was surrounded by candles-what a greeting!

Dinner was taken in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast was eaten outside in a courtyard to the sound of bird song.

This luxury hotel has an indoor swimming pool, small gym and hairdressers. The outdoor swimming pool is magnificent with the hotel staff providing outstanding service throughout the day direct to you at the poolside-you can have lunch by the poolside.

On the hotel’s estate you can hire quad or mountain bikes, ride on horseback or even a horse drawn carriage or shoot.

This is an exclusive luxury hotel set in the real Spain located well away from the busy tourist resorts. Nothing is too much trouble-the attention to detail is excellent. The hotel staff are professional and most personable. This luxury hotel in Spain provides a superb base to spend the day lazing around the pool or walking in the immaculate grounds and then to drive late afternoon to Seville or Jerez or tour around the famous White Villages in the locality. You will never forget the experience of being pampered at this luxury hotel -infact you will not want to leave!

Luxury Hotel Cape Town

Posted by admin on Jul-17-2010

We visited Cape Town in South Africa to attend a wedding flying from Birmingham in England via Amsterdam to Cape Town with KLM.

Our flight touched down late at night and we were driven by our friends to the first of two luxury hotels we had arranged to stay at for four nights in Cape Town:-

THE CAPE HERITAGE HOTEL

This luxury hotel in Cape Town is centrally located within walking distance of both the financial area of the city and the shops and parks.

There are fifteen bedrooms. Our room was huge, beautifully furnished with a wonderful wooden floor and we could sit up in bed with a view of Table Mountain.

This luxury hotel in Cape Town is owned by an Englishman who is most personable-nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight served by the most friendly staff you could possibly meet. A lovely lounge to relax in with a drink in the evening. Although dinner is not served there are numerous excellent restaurants close by which the hotel can recommend-do not miss dining at L’Aubergine! The hotel will arrange a taxi for you if required -in a mercedez benz.

Angsana Ihuru is situated in the North Male Atoll, with only a short 25 minute transfer from the airport. Angsana has only 45 villas with thatched roofs, private gardens, and verandas with relaxing and dining areas. There is also an outdoor shower, airconditioning, a mini bar, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Internally the colours are vivid with lime green, tangerine, and yellows predominating.

If you are after totally luxury holidays in the Maldives, or a Maldives honeymoon, then this spa retreat surrounded by a shallow lagoon, an unspoilt reef, and a quite beautiful palm fringed picture postcard beach would be totally perfect.

When you arrive, and all through your stay at Angsana Ihuru you will realise why it is one of the most photographed of the Maldive Island resorts.

Angsana Resort is also very well known for the excellence of its cuisine, so if your idea of a perfect luxury holiday in the Maldives is to eat, then this may be for you.

So the main reasons why you may wish to stay at the Angsana Resort for either your holiday in the Maldives or your Maldives honeymoon could easily be summarised as follows.

Luxury For Less – London On A Shoestring

Posted by admin on Jul-2-2010

Selecting London hotels based on location as well as price can make a London vacation both comfortable and affordable even on a shoestring budget. There are many hotels located within an easy walking distance to “The Tube.” The Tube is London’s most commonly used form of transportation for residents and it can make getting around the city fast, easy, and affordable. With 275 Tube stations throughout London, it’s not difficult to find a hotel within easy walking distance to one of these stations, giving travelers easy access to the many sights and experiences London has to offer.

While guided tours of London can be costly and most museums charge admission, there are many things to do in this wonderful city that don’t cost a dime. For instance, visitors may want to check out Speakers’ Corner in Hyde Park. Other suggestions include the many parks located in London, viewing art at Kenwood House and the National Gallery, watching London light up at dusk while walking the Embankment, or trying the free food samples that Harrods always has to offer. Many affordable London hotels are located in close proximity to these attractions or are just a short Tube ride away.

Dining in London does not have to break the bank either. There are certainly many wonderful restaurants in London for those who seek a luxurious (and expensive) dinner, but the true adventure of London comes in part from the pub experience. Not only can travelers get a pint of their favorite local ale, but they can also indulge in traditional English fare: Fish and chips, bangers and mash, Ploughman’s lunch, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Additionally, the pub is a great place to meet some of the locals and hear about some of the area’s history and folklore. Visitors may also learn of the favorite haunts of London residents and have the chance to see a side of city that other, less adventurous travelers might miss.

Saving money while on vacation may be a necessity for some travelers. For others, the savings may provide the opportunity to splurge on something very special, something to be remembered for years after the vacation. This splurge might be a dinner prepared by a world-renowned chef, enjoying a theatre production, or a memorable stay at one of many luxurious London hotels.
